Gladys L. (Sally) Knigge Schmidt passed away Friday, April 13, 2012, at the age of 79. She was born in Dallas, Texas on September 17, 1932 to George Fritz and Gladys Graham Knigge.
Sally, as she was known, was preceded in death by both parents; husband, Jerry W. Schmidt; son, Jerry W Schmidt, Jr.; sister, Averill K. Stewart; brothers, Julius Amberg Knigge, Sr, George Ernst and John Graham Knigge, and sister-in-law, Shirley Archer Knigge.
She is survived by nephew, John A. Knigge (Dolores) and nieces, Daryl K. Page (Wray), Gaye Lynn Knigge (Walter Nagy) and Suzanne Gollin (Jim). Sally is also survived by many other great and great-great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Per her request, there will be no services. At a later date, her cremains will be taken to Cedar Cemetary, La Grange, Texas, where her parents are buried.
