Mildred, is the 2nd of 10 children born to Frank H. and Grace (Nickerson) Buttery. She played piano, loved to ice skate, attended schools in both Lewiston & Youngstown. Had worked @ the Bell Air Craft as a 'rivitor' during WWII, Ransomville Gen. Hospital and Niagara Wheatfield School. She married her husband William Henry Crewe on Thanksgiving Day Nov. 27, 1940 in Lewiston, NY and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lewiston, Her Great Gt. Grandfather, Robert Nichols laid the corner stone for this church. She is survived by her eight children; Grace, Kenneth, Alice, Linda, Russell, Evelyn, Charles & Charlene. 14 grandchildren & 2 Great Grandchildren, Her mother, Grace (Nickerson) Buttery and siblings: John Sr.,Donald Sr., Loretta, Mary, Robert & Jeanette. Pre-deceased by: Husband, William (1983), her father, Frank Buttery (1946) brother's Wilbur & Lewis Buttery and a sister, Ruth (Buttery) Myers.
