Dianne L. Byrd, age 58, a resident of Parkview Nursing Home, Green Bay, died on Sunday morning, April 15, 2012 at Parkview Nursing Home, Green Bay. Dianne was born on August 5, 1953 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Donald R. and Dorothy (Kubsh) Nooker. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the class of 1971. Dianne worked at Hamilton Industries for 10 years and then later worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at various nursing homes in the area. She loved to cook and bake for her family and friends. She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law: Clessa Byrd, Sheboygan, Teresa and Leonard Steen, Manitowoc; two sons: Bernard Byrd, Two Rivers, Patrick Byrd, Manitowoc; four grandchildren: Brendon Brink, Skylour Schneider, Cristina Steen, and Shasha Amber Van Frachen; two sisters and two brothers-in-law: Donna Yelvington, Two Rivers, Julie and Dennis Carter, Two Rivers, Jeff Freheit, MN; three brothers and two sisters-in-law: Ralph and Kay Nooker, Two Rivers, Dennis and Marilyn Nooker, Manitowoc, Donald Nooker, Manitowoc; special friends: Annette Kobriger and friends at Parkview Nursing Home. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is also preceded in death by one sister: Darlene Freheit. Cremation has taken place at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be Deacon Alan Boeldt with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
