Realtor and Developer of the Angelino Heights Neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. President of the Fielding J. Stilson Company, dealing in real estate, stocks and bonds, from 1903 until his removal in 1912. Born in Kansas, he came to Los Angeles with his family in 1885. He attended Occidental College and the University of Southern California. His father William began the development of Angelino Heights, and after his untimely death Fielding took over management of the project. A civic leader, he served on the Los Angeles Board of Education for two terms, from 1906 to 1912, and was a member of the Municipal Art Commission. He later lived in the Philippines and then worked in San Francisco as a realtor and financial reporter for the San Francisco Evening Bulletin, before returning to Los Angeles in the 1930s. Husband of Viola Rosamond Winter, they married in 1904 and later divorced.
