Brazil, Ind John G STEARLEY aged 55, coal miner and veteran of WWI, died suddenly Friday night of a heart attack at his home at Harmony. Survivors are the
widow, Mrs Vesta STEARLEY,
1 daughter: by a former marriage, Mrs (Bertha) W.C. Pascoe of Evansville;
mother Mrs Elizabeth STEARLEY of Brazil, RR 2;
4 sisters: Mrs Ed FUGATE, RR3, Miss Mary STEARLEY RR5, Mrs Arthur PILANT and Mrs Lyle HUGHES of Terre Haute:
3 brothers: Herman of Rockport, Harold of RR5, and Earl STEARLEY serving with the Seabees in the Aleutian area.
The body was taken to Lawson & Son's Funeral Home where friends may call until Sunday noon when it will be returned to the home. Funeral services will probably be held Tuesday afternoon at the Harmony U. B. Church.
