On Monday Afternoon
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon for David R. Jordan, who died last Thursday afternoon at his home in Cheney.
Mr Jordan was born at Owensboro, Kentucky, September 25, 1847. He leaves, besides his wife Mary Margaret, four sons:
Harvey of Rodna; Roscoe of La Grande Oregon; Hugh of Cheney and Alva of Seattle, and four daughters: Mrs Cora Ogden of Seattle; Mrs Blanche Buchanan of La Grande Oregon; Mrs Florence Cameron of La Grande and Mrs May Moton of Dayton.
Funeral services were held at the Church of the Nazarene, Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock, the Rev. Mr Edwards officiating. Burial was at Riverside cemetery in Spokane. Andrews Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.
