Richard L. Lindstrom Sr., 71 of Morrisdale, passed away April 10, 2012 at his residence.

Born January 21, 1941 in Lanse, he was the son of the late Ture William & Hazel A. (Sones) Lindstrom.

On Nov. 26, 1962 at Gospel Tabernacle Church, Chester Hill, he wed Dorothy Shirley (Buck) Lindstrom, who survives at home.

He is survived by-

Two Daughters and three sons:

Shirley Tina Lindstrom of Morrisdale

Richard L. Lindstrom Jr. of Morrisdale

Russell Lynn Lindstrom Sr. of West Decatur

Sherry Trina Stiner and her husband Duane of Houtzdale

David Lynn Lindstrom and his wife Lisa of Morrisdale

Sister:

Alice Lippert of Clearfield

Eleven grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and one step-great grandchild

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Mark Edward Lindstrom Sr., step-granddaughter: Jasmine Delgado; sisters: Ruby Strayer, Margaret Cantolina, Norma Jean Harvey and Elsie Beck; and brothers: Robert, Harold E., Norman T., Carl A. and Donald L.

He was a 1961 graduate of Philipsburg High School. Prior to retirement, he worked for Piper Aircraft and was self employed as a truck driver. He was a member of Morris Twp. Fire Co. He was of the Protestant Faith

Funeral Service will be held at the David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home, 228 N. Centre St. Philipsburg, PA on April 14 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Duane W. Stiner officiating.

Burial will be in Bradford Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on April 13 from 6-8 p.m. and on April 14 from 10-11 a.m
