Age 18. He lived and worked on his parents farm in Nikolaistad {later Vaasa}. He boarded the Titanic with his brother Karl Johan and Anna Sjoblom, an old school friend. They were travelling to Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Jakob died in the sinking.
