Billy Cecil Adams, 69, died August 19, 1999. He was born on Feb. 14, 1930. Billy married Rita Tingelhoff Jun 10,1953. Preceding him in death were three daughters, Marie, Mary & Joan Adams. OVERTON, Neb. - Billy C. Adams, 69, of Overton, died Aug. 19, 1999, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Neb.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Lexington, Neb. The Rev. Donald Buhrman will officiate. Burial with military honors will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m Monday at Reynolds-Love Chapel in Lexington with a wake service that same evening at 7.

Memorial contributions can be made to St. Ann's Catholic Church, the American Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice.

Adams was born Feb. 14, 1930, in Moline, to James and Alice (Anderson) Adams. He graduated from Lexington High School in 1948.

On June 10, 1953, he married Rita Tingelhoff in Lexington.

Adams served in the United States Air Force for 23 years. After he retired, he worked at Sperry New Holland in Lexington for 10 years.

Survivors include his wife, Rita Adams, Overton; a son, Thomas Adams, Milden Hall, England; four daughters, Marietta Adams, Henderson, Neb., Jolene Fischer, Cambridge, Neb., Norma Yeutter, Cozad, Neb., and Kellie Anderson, North Platte, Neb.; three brothers, Homer "Bud" Adams, Winfield, Harold "James" Adams, Superior, Neb., and Larry Adams, Virginia Beach, Va.; a sister, Jeanette Dorner, Omaha, Neb.; and nine grandchildren.

Three daughters, Marie Kathleen Adams, Mary Elizabeth Adams and Connie Joann Adams, preceded him in death.
