Raymond [KRIEG], 82, 12280 Plymouth-Goshen Trail, Plymouth, died at 10:45 a.m. Friday at his home following an illness.
He was born in Akron to Charles and Lucy KRIEG. On April 29, 1933 in South Bend he married Mary E. YIKE who survives. In 1975, after 22 years, he retired as produce manager for
Kroger's. He worked at Volpert's Hardware Store and after retiring from Kroger's he sold and repaired bicycles. He was a former member of the Plymouth Optimists and the First United Methodist Church.
Surviving with his wife are three daughters, Mrs. Cy (Carol) SARBER, Plymouth; Mrs. Fred (Charlene) JENSEN, Hamlet; and Linda HINDMAN, Plymouth; one son, Charles and Gloria
KRIEG, Plymouth; sixteen grandchildren; eihteen great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Maureen
KRIEG, Yorktown, and one brother, Dale [KRIEG], Akron. Preceding in death was one brother,
David [KRIEG].
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Johnson Funeral Home, 1100 North Michigan
St., Plymouth, with the Rev. Al KUNDENREICH officiating. Burial will be in the New Oakhill
Cemetery, Plymouth. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday. Memorials may be made
to the Marshall County Cancer Society and Hearthstone Hospice.
