Glen Fickel, 51, Wichita, Kan., died Thursday, July 11, 2002.
Mr. Fickel was a senior project engineer with Cessna Aircraft Co. for nearly 30 years.
His survivors include his companion, Sandy Woodrow, Wichita; his parents, Harold and Lois Fickel, Clinton; a sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Kelley Smith, Independence; and three nephews, Steve, Chris and Jeff Smith.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Speaks Midtown Chapel, Independence. Burial will be in Mound Grove Cemetery, Independence. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the University of Kansas Alumni Association or the Boy Scouts of America.
