Born on August 23, 1924 in Stoughton, Massachusetts, Mildred was a daughter to the late Cyril S. and Flora A. ( Bearse ) Lewis. She attended Stoughton Public Schools and was a 1942 Graduate of Stoughton High School. Mrs. Morrill was employed for many years as a Food Service Provider in the Stoughton Public School System. Mildred had a " love for life " and her family was everything to her. She will be missed by all who had the opportunity to know her.
Her hobbies included, baking, gardening, sewing and a great appreciation for nature. She was a member and attended The First United Methodist Church of Stoughton. Mildred was a member of the churches Woman's Society and was a former Sunday School Superintendent .
Her funeral service will be held on Saturday January 28, 2012 at 12 noon from The Sheehan, Lowe & Powers Funeral Home, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. The Pastor Rev. Rebecca L. Cho officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton. NOTE: Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 10 am – 12 noon. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations to The First United Methodist Church of Stoughton, 103 Pleasant Street, Stoughton, MA 02072 in Mildred's memory, would be appreciated. Mildred's family would also like to thank the Stoughton Visiting Nurses Association and Old Colony Hospice for their kind, compassionate care over these past few months.
