Sarah W. Kendall was born around 1810. She married, May 28, 1829, James Bancroft, the son of Joseph and Susannah (Hubbard) Bancroft. Sarah and James resided in New Ipswich, NH, where James was a deacon of the Congregational Church. They had six children named below. Sarah and James moved to Rindge, NH in 1857 and resided a few years when Sarah died January 23, 1861, aged 51 years.
