As Goldia Ida Myers, she married Willis V. Lutz on June 1, 1922, in Indiana. She was 18; he was 21. They divorced. Vern died of a coronary occlusion in 1953, at age 52, accd'g to his d/c. Their son, Vern, died of cardiac arrest at age 52.

Obituary:
Goldia I Lutz, 89, of Fort Wayne died Sunday in Woodview Healthcare. The Waterloo native retired in 1969 from the kitchen of the Fort Wayne State Developmental Center after 10 years. She also had worked for General Electric Co. several years and was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Shirley N. Keuneke of LaGrange; sisters, Geraldine Huys of South Bend and Marjorie Wilson of Bensonville, Ill.; brother, Russell Myers of South Bend; eight grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Services are 1 p.m. tomorrow in D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, where calling is 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials are gifts to the church.
