George Washington Bryant, 86, died Sunday, April 26,at
his home at Lambsburg.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Bessie Ward Bryant; a daughter Mrs. Leona Williams, Independence; three sons, Johnny Bryant, at home; Harvey Bryant, Independence, and William Bryant, Galax. A brother, Walter
Bryant, Mount Airy, N. C. Ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Chestnut
Grove Baptist church. Interment, under Vaughn Guynn direction, followed in the Stanley cemetery. [W.H. Stantliff Cemetery] Lambsburg.
