Services Held Saturday for William G. Brovont
Funeral services for William G. Brovont, 83, of Route 1 Sunfield passed away February 10, in his home on Sunfield Highway. He was born October 6, 1888 in Eaton County, a son of Daniel and Emma (Bottorff) Brovont. His life was spent in the Sunfield area. He was a retired farmer.
Surviving are his wife, Lucy; a son, Dean of Traverse City; a brother, John and a half brother, Elmer Brovont, both of Indiana; a sister, Mrs Orpha Adams of Davison; a stepson, Maurice Hoover of Grand Rapids; a stepdaughter, Mrs Duane Snavely of Vermontville and two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday, February 13 at 2:00 p.m. from the Mapes-Fisher Funeral Home in Sunfield. The Rev. Dale Aukerman of the Sunfield Church of the Brethren officiated. Interment was in Sunfield Cemetery. Clifford Cheal, Archie Cheal, Elmer Shaffer, Ora Frantz, Delmond Frantz and Edgar Fleetham were casketbearers.
