Tanner M'Kane Evers, age 8 years, 5 months and 28 days, left his mother's arms and stepped into the arms of Jesus on April 14, 2012 after a valiant 5+ year battle with Neuroblastoma cancer. He has won.

Tanner walked through each day of his illness with courage and dignity and was a true inspiration to all who encountered him. He had the most beautiful blue eyes with long, dark lashes and a smile that just made your heart happy. He loved his God, his Sissi, his family and his Longhorns.
We would like to thank his medical team for loving and caring so well for Tanner, our friends and church family for supporting us through this journey, the UT Athletics Dept. for striving so hard to make a little boy's wishes come true, the Neuroblastoma community for their support and dedication to finding a cure, and most of all Jesus for walking beside each of us every day and keeping our hearts full of hope. We serve an awesome God.

Tanner is survived by his father, Troy Evers; mother, Rebecca Evers; his Sissi, Maddi Evers; step-Dad, Chad Mayes; step-brothers, Jeremy and Corey Mayes; his Grannie, Connie Weger; step-Grandparents, Donna Mayes and Tom and Cathy Mayes; Aunts and Uncles, Randy and Debbie Evers, Darrell and Kathryn Evers, Rodney and Pam Evers, James and Katie Spaulding, Mike and Julie Weger, Glenn and Renee Brown, Bruce Weger; Mike and Cathy Moore; his best buddy and "Monster-Man", Eli Jurado and a long list of cousins and friends who loved him dearly. He was predeceased by his PaPa and Grandma, Billy and Mary Evers and his beloved Grandpa, Don Weger.

Memorial services for Tanner will be held April 21, 2012 @ 11:00 am at Northwest Fellowship, 13427 Pond Springs Rd. Austin Texas 78729. Feel free to wear burnt orange to honor Tanner's Longhorns.

In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to Cancer Research at Dell Children's Hospital, St Baldrick's, or your favorite Neuroblastoma charity in Tanner's name.

Arrangements entrusted to Beck Funeral Home, 1700 E. Whitestone, Cedar Park, Texas 78613, (512) 259-1610.
Tanner earned his wings after over five years long battle against childhood cancer.

He left behind his heartbroken mother Rebecca, his stepfather Chad and sister Maddison.
