Jo Holly Robertson

Funeral services for Mrs. Jo Holly Robertson will be at 2 p.m. Monday, October 20, 2003 in St. Michael's Episcopal Church with Father George Gennuso officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Pineville under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Pineville.

Mrs. Robertson, 75, of Pineville, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2003. She was a native of Pineville, born to Floyd Chester and Ilda Simpson Holly on March 1, 1928. She was a member of St. Michaels Episcopal Church and was active in Go-getters and a past member of the vestry. Her parents and her husband, John Lee Robertson, preceded her in death. She lived in Morgan City from 1956 to 1980 as a Nurse in Lakewood Hospital. She retired and moved back to Pineville in 1980.

She is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Dianne & C.J. Doiron of Lafayette, LllA and Holly and Larry McRae of Denton, Texas; grandchildren Michael Doiron and wife, Dawn of Breaux Bridge, LA, Michelle Shaver of Pineville, LA, Rhonda McRae of Atlanta, Georgia, Amy Woods and husband Brian of Corinth, Texas; Sara Moreland and husband Matt of San Antonio, Texas; and Robert McRae and wife Emily of San Antonio, Texas; and 9 great grandchildren, Jacob and Allyse Doiron, Jonathan, Nathan and Hannah Shaver, Emily Natalie and Ridgedon Woods and Hollyn Moreland.

She is also survived by two sisters; Mary Holly Ducharme of Lafayette, LA and Clara Holly Hurst of Baton Rouge, LA; two brothers; Floyd Chester Holly, Jr. of Lafayette, LA and Billy Holly of Natchitoches and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to noon at the funeral home and from 1 p.m. at the church until time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, 605C Medical Center Drive, Alexandria, LA 71301.
