19 Oct 1951 married Eldon 'Buzz' Busick

Patsy Jean Busick was born to Edwin and Nellie Hamblin in Marshfield, Missouri, February 11, 1933, and welcomed home by Jesus, her Savior December 17, 2008. She was baptized and became a member at the First Christian Church in Marshfield at age six. Her family moved to Kennewick, Washington when she was ten. Following her graduation from Hover High School, at 17, she attended Business College. Patsy met and married the love of her life, Eldon "Buzz" Busick in 1951. Together they had two children, Gary and Trina, into whom she poured years of unconditional love. While the children were young, Patsy stayed home and worked occasionally to help out during the family's lean years. In 1993 she retired from her job at the Laborer's Local Union 348 where she worked as a secretary and touched many lives. Patsy was the youngest of 10 kids. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Carrol, Ira, Edwin, Oscar, Jeff, and Hal and sisters Lucie, Mary, Zazle, and June. She was widowed in 1982 and remained completely in love with her "Buzzy" until her death. Patsy spent her free time with many family and friends. She thoroughly enjoyed Mariners Baseball, dining and playing games with the "OWLS", and got giddy at the sound of a winning machine and the thrill of a good hand of poker. Her legacy is found in the relationships she held with many. Mema Patsy is survived by: children Gary and Sandi Busick Kennewick, Trina and Barry McInturff Kennewick; grandchildren Bradd and Pat Busick Tacoma, Kim Busick and Peter Frentzen Kennewick, Julie McInturff Kennewick; and Michael and Melinda McInturff Kennewick. Her eyes sparkled from the joy brought by great-granddaughters, Mckenna and Payton Frentzen. The sparkle got brighter when Bradd and Pat announced another great-grandchild would arrive in June. Many others proved their devotion to Patsy by helping so lovingly care for her during these past few months. These include: sister-in-law and friend of sixty-five years, Betty Hamblin, long-time family friends, her good "buddies", and special nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their gratitude to those health-care angels who blessed us during Patsy's stays at Kennewick General Hospital, Our Lady of Lourdes Rehab, and finally at Tri-Cities Hospice. You were amazing. Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union, Kennewick, will be open from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. December 26, for final viewing. Patsy will be buried December 27, 2008, at 9:30 a.m., in the Riverview Heights Cemetery, followed at 11:00 a.m., with a memorial celebration and luncheon at Bethel Church in Richland, WA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tri-City Hospice.
