Mrs. Edith Kreger, 91, of Markleton RD 1, died April 1 in Somerset Community Hospital. Born Jan. 2. 1881, in Grantsville she was a daughter of Gillian and Cordelia (Layman) Meese. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles S. Kreger, in 1939. Surviving are a son, Jacob G. Kreger, of Addison; a daughter, Mrs. Pauline Brougher, Markleton RD 1; a grandson and three great-grandchildren. She was a member of Kingwood Church of God and the Queen Victoria Rebekah Lodge 575 of Kingwood. Funeral service was conducted Wednesday afternoon in William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood, with Rev. Paul Tobias officiating. Interment in Kingwood IOOF Cemetery
