David Michael Hamstead, 53, of Wheeling, WV., died Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at his home.
He was born January 10, 1959, in Wheeling, WV., the son of the late Charles and Marjorie Friend Hamstead.
Mr. Hamstead was a district manager for Rite Aid Corporation and was a Christian by faith.
Surviving are a daughter, Jessica L. McGee and her husband, Paul; two sons, Michael C. Hamstead and Jeff R. Hamstead; three grandchildren, Pauly, Mallory, Dylan; a brother, Jim Hamstead; three sisters, Charlene McCoy and her husband, Hugh, Susan Daly and her husband, Scott and Leigh Ryan and her husband, Jim; also survived by his former wife, Debra D. Hamstead.
Friends will be received from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. on Friday, April 20, 2012 at the Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St., Wheeling, where service will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 10.m. with Pastor Mark A. Zelewicz, Sr. officiating. Interment at the convenience of the family.
