Richard C. Scannell age 83, of Xenia, passed away Saturday February 13, 2010. He was born December 17, 1926 in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Harry and Mildred (Schuler) Scannell. He is survived by his wife Marion J. (Mentz) Scannell; and sons: Kent Scannell and Keith Scannell (Nancy). Richard was a veteran having served in the United States Navy during the WWII. Richard was a retired school teacher from Warner Junior High in Xenia. A private interment will take place at Valley View Memorial Gardens at the family's convenience. Services in care of McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia.
