Her husband was Edward Turner Partridge and they lived in Gerry, Chautauqua, New York. Elinor was Edward's second wife. His first wife (Mary) died in 1853.

In the 1860 census, Edward Turner Partridge, his 2nd wife, Elinor (nee Fessenden), and their daughter, Ellen Partridge and Edward's youngest son (Burton Partridge) from his 1st marriage were all living with Elinor's parents, Reuben and Lucretia (Fisher) Fessenden.
