On an Icy night in November Donny was riding along with a friend who was proud of his new car. The driver wanted to know how fast the car would go so he gunned the engine down Market street to see how fast it would go. They hit an icy patch and the car spun out of control hitting a concrete truck near Bear Creek killing all but one in the car instantly. Donny survived until reaching the hospital where he was pronounced dead from severe head injuries. He is proceeded in death by a son who he loved dearly by the name of Bradley Thomas Hagan.
