Frank was one of two sons born to John D. & Martha (Robinson) Buttery. He married the former Grace A. Nickerson in Jan. 1915 and they had ten children. He was a farmer in the Towns of Lewiston & Porter and also operated a small cider mill. In 1913 he built his home on the Pletcher road where 9 of his 10 children were born, son Wilbur was born in the grandparents home. Frank died in his 2nd home in the Town of Porter.
