Catherine Anne Wilson of 1838 E. Wilson Road, Scottville, died Oct. 30 at her home following a brief illness. A complete obituary and funeral arrangements will be announced later by the Dorrell Funeral Home.

Catherine Anne Wilson, died Oct. 30, 2003
Catherine Anne Wilson, 85, died at her home in Custer Township Thursday, Oct. 30, 2003.
Catherine Anne Reinoehl was born April 15, 1918 in Eden Township, the daughter of the late John and Nellie (Saxton) Reinoehl. The family lived in Detroit until 1926 when they returned to Mason county where Catherine spent the remainder of her life. She was married June 8, 1947 to Holly Wilson, and he survives.
Catherine graduated from Custer high School and Mason County Normal. She received a bachelor of arts and master of arts degree from Western Michigan University. She taught school in Mason County for 25 years, 15 of them at the Mason County Central Middle School. She was a member of the Mason County Retired Teachers Association and the Michigan Association of Retired School Personnel.
She was a member of the Sugar Ridge Church of the Brethren where she served as organist and pianist for more than 35 years. With her husband, she was active for many years as a lifetime member of the deacon board.
She is survived, in addition to her husband, by two daughters, Suzanne Wilson of Columbus, Ohio and Mary Ellen Wilson of Custer Township; one brother, John (Ruth) Reinoehl of Bath; two brothers-in-law, Donald (Dora) Wilson of Ludington and Robert (Doris) Wilson of Hart; an aunt, Nondes (Orvan) Saxton of Scottville; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister- and brother-in-law Mary (Wilson) Jones and Leonard Jones, and a niece, Darlene Wilson.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3 at the Dorrell Funeral Home, with burial following at Riverside Cemetery, Custer. There will be no visitation.
Memorials may be directed to the charity or organization of the donor's choice.
The Wilson family is being served by the Dorrell Funeral Home.
