Reba was born in Wenatchee to Iva Florence (Craig) McMullen and Guy Roy McMullen. She and her family lived in Wenatchee and in Swakane Canyon during her growing-up years. She Graduated in 1938 from Sunnyside High School. Her parents moved the family to Sultan, and then to Monroe and she lived and worked there for several years. During a short return to Wenatchee, she met her future husband, Corlys Hubbard, at the Church of the Nazarene. They were married on August 29, 1940 at the Monroe Church of the Nazarene. They made their home in Monroe for five years.
In the fall of 1945, they moved to Wenachee and opened Hi-Line Book & Bible Store in their home. They operated this store as their Christian ministry to the community for 53 years, retiring in June of 1998.
Reba was preceded in death by her husband, Corlys, only three months ago; her father Guy Roy; her mother Iva; and four brothers.
Reba leaves behind her daughter, Charleen Burkhart and husband Gary of Moses Lake; two grandaughters; and 1 great-grandson.
Services will be Tuesday, July 31 at 11 a.m. at the Jones & Jones Colonial Chapel, with Pastor Cathy Knox officiating.
Following interment at Wenatchee Cemetery, family and friends are invited to a fellowship time at the First Church of the Nazarene, Wenatchee.
