Lola Wickliffe Amick, 96, of 1560 Thornblade Blvd., died Saturday, June 5, 2004.
Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late W.W. Wickliffe and Mamie Adams Wickliffe.
Mrs. Amick was a homemaker, and was a member of Overbrook Baptist Church and the Ruth Sunday School Class. She was also active with the Senior Citizens of the church.
Preceding her in death were her husband, George W. Amick, and sons, Gene W. Amick and George L. Amick.
Surviving are her brother, Roy Wickliffe, of Greenville; grandchildren, Rhonda A. Dodd, Virginia A. Allison, George L. Amick, Jr. and Diane Amick; great-grandchildren, Justin R. Amick, Kristian A. Carlton, Kelly Allison, Staci
Amick, Patricia Dodd and Bobby Dodd; and a great-great-grandson, Jackson Carlton.
Services will be Thursday, June 10, 2004, at 3 p.m. at The Mackey Mortuary, Century Drive, with the Rev. Dale Sutton officiating. Interment will be at McCarter Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
