Mrs. Lavera Vaughan Ledbetter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Vaughan, of Ralston, died Tuesday at her home in Johnsonville and the remains reached Ralston Wednesday night.
Funeral services were conducted at the Ralston Methodist church Thursday morning, followed by interment at Eastview cemetery, Martin.
Mrs. Ledbetter was sick but a few days and her death was a shock to her relatives. She was married to Mr. E. L. Ledbetter, station agent at Johnsonville, about two years ago.
She was the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Vaughan, a sister of Mrs. Desdy Bragg, of Dresden, and was reared at Ralston.
She was an unusually bright, intelligent, pretty young lady, and a great host of friends deeply regret her untimely death.
