A native of Hickman County he was the son of the late Simp and Opha Whitehead Burlison. He is survived by his wife Linda McNabb Burlison, Daughters, Cheryl Miller, Teresa Hinson, Belinda Whitehead, Betty Jean Strohman, Kimberly Williams, Beverly Anthony, Patty Quillen, and Laretta Wynn, Brother Horace Burlison, 18 Grandchildren, 27 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great Great-Grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers,Hurman, Hulbert, Hassell, Homer and Howard, Sister Charlene Parnell, Grandchildren Ricky DeKnoblough, Kristan Miller, and Great Grandchild Kristopher Pigg.
