Rachel was the d/o Nathan Thomas Harrison and Sarah Ogleby.
She was one of 12 children. She married James Madison Ellis in 1838 in Murray Co., GA and was the mother of 7 children by him: Thaddeus Stephen, John Alexander. Violet Caroline, Mary Ann, Nancy A, Joseph Pickens and Rachel Manerva Ellis between
1840 and 1856.

Racheal is believed to be buried in the Berean Cemetery in Gilmer with her husband of 38 years.

Problem 1: I searched the entire cemetery and could not find the grave
Details:
This cemetery has two burial areas. One is older and is across from the front of the church. I saw some Ellis' there but not this one. There were some really old and weathered stones there that were unreadable. The other burial area is on the side of the church. Most of those were not as old but did not
see your person in that area either.
