GALVESTON, TEXAS - Charles Green Spell, 70, died March 4 in Galveston.
He was a native of Tattnall County and had lived in Galveston for the past 30 years. He was a retired mechanic, an Army veteran who had served during the Korean War. He also spent four years in the Air Force.
SURVIVORS: his mother, Tressie Spell of Metter; six sons, Barry Spell of Stillwater, Okla., Charles Spell of Los Angeles, Calif., Randy Spell and Victor Spell, both of Granite Shoals, Texas, Kevin Spell and Matt Spell, both of Galveston; two daughters, Angela Paisley of Galveston and Tammy Hahn of Stillwater, Okla.; a brother, Thomas Spell of Cobbtown; four sisters, Frances Hendrix of Collins, Annie Morris of Augusta, Sarah Baker of Bloomingdale and Marty Carter of Metter; 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
VISITATION: 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Kennedy-Morgan Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Monday at Kennedy-Morgan Funeral Home, Metter. Burial will be in Cedar Creek Cemetery near Collins.
