As you can see, 'Tillie' was given a very long unusual birth name. Her birth (Tauf) register in located at the St. Peters Lutheran Church, North Ridge, Lockport in the 'German records book'. We all called her Aunt Tillie. She was the care giver for her mother until her death & then Tillie married & became a farmers wife. She had 2 children, made great sock 'monkeys'; baked great gingerbread cookies & out-of-this-world strawberry shortcake. She took her chickens, eggs & flowers to the Buffalo City market & also made door-to-door deliveries.
