Norma Rowina Karnopp was born in July, 1896, in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, the middle daughter of Dr. Gottfried L. and Edith M. Moore Karnopp.
Shortly after attending Milwaukee-Downer College, Norma married Robert R. Stafford, Sr. (1891-1992), of Chicago, Illinois in March of 1918.
The couple would have two children: Robert R., Jr., and Howard M. Stafford.
Robert, Sr., and Norma moved to West Palm Beach, Florida, in the 1950's, where Norma spent the remainder of her life, dying in August of 1972 at the age of 76.
