B. F. Towns, the aged colored man who was sent to the insane asylum at Osawatomie last fall, died at that institution last Sunday. The remains were brought here for burial and were interred in the Larned cemetery Tuesday afternoon after services at the colored Baptist church. The deceased leaves a widow and several children. He was a resident of this city for an number of years and was considered an exemplary citizen.
