A lifelong resident of Denham Springs, Ruby Inez Sullivan Henderson, 94, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2009, at Flannery Oaks Nursing Home in Baton Rouge. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church, Denham Springs. Visitation at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Tuesday, Aug. 18, from 10 a.m. until service at noon, officiated by the Rev. T.W. Terral. Burial in Denham Springs Memorial Park in Denham Springs. Survived by her grandchildren, Sandy Arnold, Donna Van Oss and Elisa Arnold; great-grandchildren, Samuel and Amelia Van Oss; son-in-law, Donald Arnold; and numerous nieces and nephews, including Geraldine Walters. Preceded in death by her husband, Brian C. Henderson; daughter, Gwendolyn Arnold; parents, Joseph and Mary Duffy Sullivan; three brothers, J.D., Pearly and Carl Sullivan; sisters, Belle Noblet and Opal Tyler; and half-brother and half-sister, Charlie and Gertrude Sullivan. Pallbearers will be Terry, Jimmy Daniel and Donald Sullivan, Ray Walters, Carey Wilson and Daniel Van Oss. The family would like to extend a special thank you to her sitters, Margarette Whitley, Doris Bowling and Pam Stevens, and her very special friend, Patty Miller, for the love and care they have shown for her during this time.
