Mn. William M. Vestal Dies
Mrs. Georgia Ellen Davis Vestal, wife of the late William M. Vestal, passed away Monday evening at th home, of her daughter, Mrs. J. G. Badgerow, on Spruce street. She was 77 years, 3 months and 23 days old. Mrs. Vestal was born at College Mound, March 26, 1855.
Mrs. Vestal was the mother of nine children. Two preceded her in death. Mr. Vestal passed away several years ago. The seven children who survive are: Mrs. J. G. Badgerow, of this city; J. W. Vestal, of Bevier; Mrs. Osie Brammar, Macon; Elza Vestal, Slater; E. Y. Vestal, Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Hansel Powell, Excello and Mrs. Emmett Lucas, Moberly. Twenty-nine grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends also survive. Mrs. Lloyd Jones of Macon is a granddaughter of Mrs. Vestal.
Short funeral services will be held at the residence at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, followed by services at the First Baptist Church in Bevier. Burial will be in West Oakwood cemetery.
