Formerly of 150 N. Third St., Upper Sandusky, Miss Cha died at 11:05 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2002, in Fairhaven Health Care Community, where she had resided since 1999. She was 24.
She was born in Toledo on July 17, 1977, to Dr. Chong and Eun Soon Yoon Cha. Her father is living and her mother is deceased. Her stepmother, Hyun Jng (Helen) Lee survives.
Also surviving are a brother, Sung Kwang "Paul" Cha, Upper Sandusky; and two sisters, Ae Seon "Ann" Cha, Canton; and Ae Jean "Angie" Cha, Columbus.
Miss Cha was a 1995 graduate of Mayfield High School in Cleveland, where she was the valedictorian. She attended The Ohio State University, where she was an economics major. During the summer, she worked part time at First Citizens National Bank, Upper Sandusky. She was a member of Mansfield Korean UMC. In high school, she played in the orchestra and on the soccer team. Excelling in music, she enjoyed playing the piano and violin, listening to classical music and reading.
