Bernard Joseph Wiederholt was born on February 7, 1917, in Lisbon, North Dakota, to parents Joseph Jr. and Caroline (Roach) Wiederholt.

He was a Veteran of WWII from November 3, 1942, to February 20, 1946, serving as Staff Sergeant in the US Army Air Corp.

On August 11, 1953 Bernard married Maria Alexy at St. Cyril's Catholic Church in Encino, California.

Bernard was employed by Lockheed as an Aeronautical Engineer and Aircraft Inspector for 31 years.

He passed away on June 10, 1982, at Pomona Valley Community Hospital in Pomona, CA.

He is survived by his wife Maria; daughter Caroline Dominguez of Pomona; sister, Kathleen Greuel of Anderson, CA; brothers, Willard Wiederholt and Donald Wiederholt both of San Jose; sister-in-law Lorell Wiederholt of Richmond, CA; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded him in death was a sister, Irene Diggins of San Jose; and brother Edward Wiederholt of Richmond.
