Mary Viola Janflone, 90, of Washington, died Thursday, June 23, 2011, in the Washington Hospital.

She was born April 18, 1921, in Johnstown, a daughter of Edward and Ada Hose Favorite.

Mrs. Janflone worked as a private duty caregiver for 30 years and was a former den mother for cub scouts.

She enjoyed her family and animals, and especially her dog, Freckles, who will miss her dearly.

Mrs. Janflone was a member of Immaculate Conception Church.

In 1953, she married James "Champ" Janflone, who died March 20, 1992.

Surviving are four sons, Anthony (Karen) Janflone, Dan (Holly) Bradley, James Janflone, and Joseph (Diana) Janflone; a daughter, Holly Janflone, all of Washington; grandchildren, Tony (Kay) Janflone of Ohio, Victor Janflone, Michael J. (Ann) Janflone of Florida, Kerry (Brooks) Bradley of Arizona, Billy (Karen) Bradley of California, Tony (Kathy) Bradley of Tennessee, Danny (Jen) Bradley of Sewickley, David (Alicia) Bradley of Washington, Julie Bradley of Washington and Jillian Janflone of Washington; great-grandchildren, Dylan Bradley, Alexandra Bradley, Damian McClosky, Tyler Bradley, Grace Bradley, Darian McClosky, Dominic Bradley, Anna Bradley, and Sophie Bradley.

Deceased are two sons, William and Robert Bradley; and several brothers and sisters. She was the last of her immediate family.

Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, June 27th, in Immaculate Conception Church, with Father Michael Ruffalo as celebrant. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Washington Area Humane Society, PO Box 66, Eighty-Four, PA 15330
