She was born April 11, 1919, in the town of Maine, daughter of the late Leonard and Elsie Ohrmundt. She married Clarence Sturm on May 4, 1940. They were married for 50 years.
Evangeline was a former member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church Ladies Aide.
Survivors besides her husband Clarence include two sons, Richard (Fay), Wausau and Michael (Jocelyn), Plover; four grandchildren; Todd, Tiffany and Tracy, and Joshua; Three sisters, Bernice Garske and Irma (Martin) Henning, both of Wausau, and Helen (Arthur) Vavrusa, Gurnee, Ill.; and a brother, John Ohrmundt, Schofield. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Raymond.
Services will be 10:30 am Saturday at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Wausau with the Rev James Wiebel officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, town of Maine. Friends may call from 4 pm to 8 pm today at Helke Funeral Home, Wausau, and again after 9:30 am Saturday until the time of services at the church.
