Maggie was a housewife, caring for the home and children while her husband worked as a laborer. After his death in 1925, she lived with her daughter, Nellie.
In 1949, Maggie fell down the stairs in her home (501 1/2 King Street) and was admitted to Pottstown Hospital for 11 days. Due to her fall, she fractured her vertebrae and, according to her death certificate, developed bronco-pneumonia. Maggie died December 8, 1949 at 8:10 PM and is buried next to her husband in Pottstown Cemetery East off of Hanover Street.
