SEARSPORT - Irene Mary Milliken, 71, died peacefully July 3, 2005, at Winward Gardens in Camden after a long illness. Irene was born May 1, 1934, in Lincolnville Center, to David and Reita (Hall) Heal. She held many jobs through her life including several years as a secretary to the selectmen in the town of Lincolnville. Surviving Irene are two sons, Bari Milliken and his wife, Jan, of Lisbon Falls, Todd Milliken and his wife, Amy, of Brooks; three daughters, Heidi Gamage and husband, Richard, of Rockland, Laurie Beylerian and her husband, Kenneth, of Glenburn, and Wendy Milliken of Florida. She had 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Irene is also survived by her siste,r Connie Feener of Belmont; and her best friend and partner, Robert Taylor of Searsport. She will be greatly missed by us all. She was predeceased by her parents; brother, David; and special grandfather, Virgil Hall. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2005, at the Upper Cemetery on the Heal Road in Lincolnville Center. (Bangor Daily News 7/7/2005)
