~~Mr. Amon was born March 16, 1949 in Columbus, GA to William Amon, Sr. and Ann Wash Amon. He graduated from Jordan High School in 1967 and attended Columbus State University.
~~Survivors include his parents, William "Bill" and Ann Wash Amon, Sr.of Columbus, GA, two brothers, Billy "Bill" Amon, Jr. (Vicki) of Salinas, CA and Tommy Amon (Betsy) of Columbus, GA, several nieces and nephews, and step-daughter, Cathy Bowers of Repton, AL.
