Dina was born August 13, 1964 in Charlotte, NC . She was a 1982 graduate of Olympic High School, and a 1987 graduate of NC State University with a bachelors degree in political science. Dina had a special love for her family, friends, and animals. She was an excellent cook who loved taking care of animals and watching movies with her family, especially her children Mary Margaret and Bentz. Dina had a very big heart and was always willing to help others. She was a great mother and sister who will be missed by many.
Dina was preceded in death by her father, Harolee Ford, her mother, Claudine Ford, her brother, Harolee Ford, Jr., and her sister, Tracee Ford.
Dina is survived by her loving sister, Veda Ford of Surfside Beach, SC, and her two adoring children, Mary Margaret Tourtellot of Raleigh, NC, and Bentz Howell Tourtellot of Tuscaloosa, AL.
There will be a memorial service at McEwen Funeral Home, Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road, Charlotte, NC, Friday, April 27, 3 p.m. The children will receive friends and family at their Greensboro residence, Saturday, April 28, 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Guilford County Animal Shelter or SPCA of Triad.
