Isabella Baker Abner, age 70, of Shirley, died January 23, 2009 at her home. She was born April 1, 1938 in Johnetta, KY, the daughter of Henry and Lona (Ballinger) Baker.
Isabella was employed as a hostess. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Abner; three sons: Gary and Greg Cotton, both of Indianapolis and Timothy Cotton of Phoenix, AZ; two daughters: Angila Scott and Michelle (Charles) Abner White of Indianapolis; two sisters: Hazel Fowler of Cincinnati, OH and Zelma Mullins of Mt. Vernon, KY; three brothers: J.D. & Edd Baker and Fred Cook, all of Mt. Vernon, KY; and seven grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services will be January 27, 2009 at Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson. Burial will follow in McCray Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the funeral services.

Isabella Baker Abner, age 70, of rural Shirley, passed away Friday, January 23, 2009 at her home, after an extended illness. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. at Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson. Friends may call at the funeral home 11:00 a.m. til 12:00 p.m., prior to the service on Tuesday, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson.
