CARLISLE, April 19.

Died. On Wednefday (sic) the 10th inft. Mr. ANDREW PARKER, of Middleton townfhip (sic), after a fevere (sic) illnefs (sic) of fome (sic) weeks continuance, which he bore with exemplary patience. He was univerfally (sic) efteemed (sic), as an upright citizen, contributing much to the peace and happinefs (sic) of the neighbourhood (sic) in which he lived. In the relations of hufband (sic), father, and mafter (sic), he conduct was truly exemplary. As a fincere (sic) chriftian (sic), he appeared to depart in peace and the hope of a bleffed (sic) immortality.

Inscription

Here lies (much lamented) the body of Andrew Parker who departed this life the 10th day of April 1805 aged 43 years. He was a kind and affectionate husband, an indulgent parent, and a worthy member of society. A few short years of evil past we reach the happy shore where death divided friends at last shall meet to part no more. Also his son Richard Parker who died March 4, 1864 aged 67 years.
