William Gene Miller, 68, is the son of Wonnie Buell Miller and Rudolph Justice Miller. He was a graduate of Georgia Military College and attended Presbyterian College, and served in the Air National Guard. He was the owner and broker of Miller-Griffin Realty. He was very active in First United Methodist Church and coordinated the establishment of the United Methodist Hispanic Ministry in Bainbridge.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Mary Rollins Miller; his sons, William Gene Miller, Jr., Nathan Rollins Miller, and Willis Banks Miller; and his grandchildren, Henry Rollins, William Hayne, Mary Call and Winter Claire Miller.
Gene was preceded in death by his brothers, Francis Marion, Wonnie Buell "Buster" Jr., and Parker David "Pete" Miller.
