HUKKA, VIRGINIA LEE, of Waterford; February 18, 2006; age 76; born February 19, 1929 in Pontiac, MI. Daughter of the late Howard and Opal Thompson; wife of the late Robert L. Sr.; mother of Robert L. Hukka Jr. (Sally); grandmother of Robert L. III (Candice); sister of Emma Lowery, Dorothy Houston (Elton), Mary LaMarbe (Bill), Carolyn Jackson (Don) and the late Margaret Raines; sister-in-law of Lee Raines; also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.

Mrs. Hukka retired from Michigan Bell after 30+ years of service, she was a member of the American Business Women and loved her bowing league on Mondays at Century 21st lanes. She was also a member of Christ Lutheran Church, 5987 Williams Lake Rd. at Airport Rd., Waterford, where she will lie in state Wednesday, February 22, 2006, 10 a.m. until the time of her Funeral Service at 11:00a.m. Rev. John Negele officiating. Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Donelson, Johns and Evans Funeral Home, 5391 Highland Rd. (M59), Waterford Monday 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial contributions to American Heart Association would be appreciated. Envelopes available at funeral home and church
