Has Reached Our City and Taken a Bright Child from Among Us.
The six-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry B. Ellett, Park street, died at ten o'clock this morning. She complained of a sore throat which was not thought of a serious character until a few days ago. There is a question among the physicians who attended the child as to whether it should be determined diphtheria or not. The case has been reported to the Health Officer, and in the event of his deciding it an infectious disease the interment will take place tomorrow, otherwise there will be a public funeral on Monday."
